Our Sustainability Efforts

Environmentally Friendly Diapers

In an ideal world everyone would be using sustainable and reusable products for everything. However, when it comes to diapers we understand that for many of our customers disposables are a much better fit for their needs and lifestyles. In order to try and off set the waste created from disposables we have made our diapers as environmentally friendly as possible. As a result our disposable diapers are made from 30-39% sustainable materials. We hope in the near future to be able to increase this number and make our diapers even more environmentally friendly.

Sustainability Certified

Our diapers have been certified by a range of third parties to make sure they are sustainability friendly. SGS is a global testing and accreditation agency that has certified the pulp in our diapers by giving us the chain of custody certification. This certification means ensures that the pulp in our diapers come from well-managed forests and other controlled sources. This ensures both us and our customers that our Texi diapers follow best sustainability practices and are not contributing to deforestation.

How Our Tree Planting Works

Creating products that are environmentally sustainable and are sourced from well managed forests is only the beginning of our sustainability efforts. For every carton (40 diapers) sold of our disposable diapers, we are planting one tree. We have partnered with Ecologi to donate money every month to have a tree planted as a way to try and offset the effects of disposables on the environment. You can follow our progress and view our forest by clicking on the link below.

Saving The Local Koala Population

Considering our disposables are being sold in Australia we thought it made sense to partner with Ecologi for an Australian based project. Our trees are currently being planted in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales to help protect and save the local koala population. After the recent devastating fires and drought this work is more vital than ever. We are thrilled to play a small part in contributing to this amazing project.
